Charlotte Kunz, Flute and Piccolo

Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from Howard Payne University (Brownwood, TX), a Master of Music in Flute Performance from the University of North Texas (Denton, TX), and a Post Graduate Performance Certificate from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). She has been a freelance musician and flute teacher for many years. Recently she has been performing in the The Marion Philharmonic and the Kokomo Symphony.  She has also worked odd jobs here and there in her work history such as bridal consultant, retail sales, lifeguard, waitress, swim teacher, and substitute teacher.

Charlotte began serving as Director of Contemporary Worship on July 1st, 2002 at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. She was responsible for leading OPPC's contemporary worship service and recruiting, organizing, rehearsing, and directing musicians and technical support teams for the service.  Charlotte served as volunteer chairperson of the contemporary planning team for two years. She lead the planning team in conceptualizing, organizing, planning, and executing the service

Charlotte doesn't have a lot of spare time, but when she does, she likes to do arts and crafts, and she also secretly dabbles in music composition, having written some Christian songs, jazz songs, choir pieces, and flute choir pieces.  She also very much enjoys spending precious down time with her husband, Charlie.
