Noah Connolly is a junior at Eastern High School where he participates in multiple activities.  These include band, show choir, soccer, National Honor Society, and Eastern’s annual musical.  He has participated in ISSMA Group I Solo and Ensemble Contest since 7th grade and has received Gold Ratings each year.  He was awarded the Joan Knolinski Scholarship in the 2016 Kokomo Morning Musicale Past Presidents’ Competition.  Connolly’s oboe teachers include Pam French of Butler University and Jennifer Kirkman of Kokomo

   His past accomplishments include a summer of participation in the prestigious Interlochen  Arts Camp in Michigan where he received a scholarship in 2015 as a Frederick Fennell Scholar. The Fennell Scholarship is named after Interlochen alumnus Frederick Fennell, who was one of the world's most distinguished wind conductors and a life-long friend of Interlochen. He was also awarded the Interlochen Fine Arts Award for Oboe.

   Noah serves as Principal English Horn and 

Co-Principal Oboe in the New World Youth Symphony, a select ensemble of advanced high school students which is based in Indianapolis.

He is active in his church youth group, enjoys hanging out with friends, plays guitar and piano and is a member of the worship band at Chapel Hill Christian Church.  Noah is the son of Joseph and Leslie Connolly.
