John Huntoon received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois and his Master’s degree in Trombone Performance from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. His teachers were Dr. Gary Shaw and Dr. Paul Hunt. While in school, Mr. Huntoon toured with the American Waterways Wind Orchestra and the Tower Brass Quintet. He also played with the Toledo Jazz Orchestra and Perrysburg Symphony. Upon completion of his graduate work, John served as principal trombonist with the Ohio Light Opera Orchestra, and was the trombonist for the Southwest Brass Quintet in Phoenix, Arizona. After relocating to Indiana in 1991, John began teaching low brass in public schools in Indianapolis and the surrounding communities.

At Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana,  Mr. Huntoon has been Director of Low Brass, Brass Ensembles, Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble.  He also serves as Director of the Anderson University Community Concert Band. John is the principal trombonist with the Anderson Symphony Orchestra and the Kokomo Park Band. He has performed with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, the Evansville Philharmonic and the Busselli-Wallerab Jazz Orchestra. John co-founded and is the trombonist for the Keynote Brass Quintet, and can be heard on their recording entitled Reflections. He has been featured on other recordings as well, including Festive Music for a Community of Faith, with organist, Dr. Ted Gibboney, with whom he appeared in recital in Freiberg, Germany as part of the St. Mary’s Cathedral concert series. Mr. Huntoon has played for artists including Ray Charles, the Moody Blues, Sandi Patty and Marie Osmond. In addition to his work at Anderson, John is active as a recitalist, recording artist and clinician throughout the Midwest. He resides in Cicero with his wife, Diana, and son, Isaac.  

Sally Duke is familiar to many in the Kokomo area as a group travel escort for Community First Bank of Indiana.  Sally grew up in Greentown, where she currently lives with her husband of 31 years and their son. She graduated from Eastern High School where she played clarinet and was an active singer and actress. She has performed in Kokomo Civic Theater productions, Lamplighter Christian Dinner Theater in Tipton and Ole Olsen Theater in Peru. Sally has recorded four gospel music CD's, as well as a CD of old standards and one of Christmas music. She was influenced by Karen Carpenter, Anne Murray, and Barbara Streisand, Amy Grant and Sandi Patty. Ms. Duke provides gospel concerts for local churches and charitable organizations on a regular basis and has been a  featured soloist each January at "Harmony in the Desert," a Gospel concert series in Tucson, Arizona. She is also featured in Greentown's "Music at the Fountain" series.
